GenZ Voters AI Civic Guide is an offline-first civic education application for young Indian citizens. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect
We collect no personal information such as your name, email, phone number, or government ID.

All data stays on your device only and is never transmitted:

  • Your quiz scores, badge progress, XP, bookmarks, and flashcard review schedules
  • Your chosen language and interest preferences
  • Your display name (optional, stored locally)

Notification preferences are stored locally. Push notification delivery is not active in this version.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect your name, email, phone, or government ID
  • We do not serve advertisements
  • We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your data with any third party
  • We do not use analytics SDKs or crash-reporting services
  • We do not use the Advertising ID
  • Nothing leaves your device

4. How Your Data Is Stored
All data is stored in a local database on your device. It is never uploaded to any server. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data removes everything permanently. We have no ability to recover it.

5. Push Notifications
Notification preference toggles are present in this version for future use. Push notification delivery will be introduced in the next version. No push tokens or device identifiers are transmitted in this version.

6. Children’s Privacy
This app is designed for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Content Disclaimer
All content in this app — Constitution articles, civic procedures, government scheme information, and AI assistant responses — is for general educational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, or official government advice. Always verify information with official government sources or a qualified professional.

8. Third-Party Services
This version does not integrate any third-party SDKs that collect or transmit personal data. The app functions entirely offline.

9. Your Rights
Since all data is stored on your device:

  • Access: view your data within the app (Progress, Badges, Certificates screens)
  • Deletion: clear app data or uninstall to delete everything permanently
  • No account to delete — the app requires no sign-up

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app is updated. The effective date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
